Berlenga's Islands

To a hundred of kilometers to the north of Lisbon, in front of the
Cabo Carvoeiro and to one hour in boat of Peniche, the greater
fishing port of continental Portugal, is the archipelago of the
islands Berlengas, islands considered paradisíacas by the
lovers of the medio.ambiente or sports like the diving, and that
are visible in clear days from the coast. Romans, vikingos, British
and pirates of different origin successively occupied those that some
historians denominated "the Saturn islands". At the present time, as
soon as few fishermen live in the small houses of the islands in the
summer season.
